Tasting notes for our new releases . . .

Pinot Gris 2008
Mid straw in colour, the nose is particularly fragrant with poached pear,
banana and ginger characters. On the palate the fruit intensity is quite
striking with ripe white fruit flavours, chewy texture and a long finish
marked by some youthful astringency and spicy Turkish delight aromatics.
A soft, full bodied, dry aromatic white wine. Cellaring will add
honeyed complexity.

Pinot Noir 2007
Medium red in colour, the nose shows warm aromas of redcurrant and
red cherry with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, the ripe red fruit
characters are tempered by plenty of soft, savoury tannins.
Cellaring will further soften these tannins and enhance the perfume.

Tasting notes for our current releases . . . .

Merlot 2005
Deep red with purple hue, the nose shows plummy aromas and fine oak with 'high note' of violets. In the mouth there is intense up-front fruit, with considerable fine grained grape and oak tannins, providing a long dry finish. A tightly structured wine with good cellaring potential.
