Come for a stroll into the vineyard to find Bob with his ‘live neckwarmer’… our cat, Yoda.
Bob will show you how he does the pruning cuts, then I (Rita) will show you how last season’s growth is pulled out of the trellis – you can have a try of this if you like! Then you can have a feel of how it’s possible to bend the vine canes to the shape required by practising on what you’ve pulled out. Then it’s a walk back to our glass room where you can relax while I prepare a warming cup of Gluhwein made using Grey Sands wine & spices.
