Pale straw in colour, the nose is floral with notes of jasmine and wisteria over white peach. The palate is tight with nectarine fruit, fresh acidity and some grape-skin dryness to finish.

Grey Sands 2016 Byzantine, a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Malvasia. Who would have thought right? Brilliant. Definitely a wine that
made to last (as with the Byzantine), and we love what come out of Grey Sands. One of the best producers in Tasmania. Highly recommended.
Exotic blend of white stone fruits and white floral notes. Medium body with a dry, nice smooth finish.
Fun fact. The capital of the Byzantine Empire, was Constantinople. Modern day Istanbul. Put it in your bucket list! 19/2/2021.
