A white wine made from Pinot Noir grapes.
Opalescent in colour, with an apricot hue. The aroma is fresh and delicate with floral overtones.
The palate is full with a hint of wild strawberry with a clean dry finish.
Made in the same way as all our white wine; whole bunch pressed to old French oak barrels, indigenous yeast ferment then nine months lees contact before bottling. Pretty simple really!
This wine may form a natural deposit so stand upright for approx 30 mins before pouring & pour the last glass carefully.

Grey Sands Blanc de Noir 2019, red grape, white wine, magic if ever I’ve seen it. Very nice this, peachy hues and delicate on the nose, sweet lemon, rock melon, golden pear and florals. the palate’s beautifully textural, mouth coatingly so, with a relaxed citrus and strawberry vibe, apricot also, clean acidity, grape seed fine tannin, good dry finish. Lovely wine.

97+ Stuart McCloskey “100% Pinot Noir. The bouquet is ripe, highly elegant and defined by orchard fruits underpinned with subtle baking spices and the slightest hint of marzipan. The palate oozes with the same sensual charm as the Pinot Gris – just with a touch more grip on the finish. There’s a generous core of orchard fruit, which reminds me of my neighbour. My home adjoins a large orchard, and this reminds me of my journey home after taking a long walk around the nature reserve – I would help myself to a dew-drenched apple that satisfies my thirst with a little puckering grip. The acidity is racy, it’s super bright with a little chalk / mineral finish. The finish is long and mouth-watering. Of course, very much an infant and will be divine over the decade to come. Simply, a beautiful creation. This may form a natural deposit. Stand upright for approx. 30 mins before pouring and pour the last glass carefully… Do not overchill. Served using Zalto Bordeaux glassware.”

2019 Blanc de Noir
It’s hard to describe, but the colour is quite alluring. It’s quite rich and complex aromatically. The palate is the place for me though, where the complexity ramps up a notch or two. Bordering on full bodied and youthful, all sorts of flavours and characteristics poke the palate into life. Fruitful, thanks to ripe red fruits and cherries, and a pear flesh/juiciness character coming together nicely. Texture and gentle acidity join the ride to the lengthy dry finish. This is a lovely wine that just seemed to intrigue me more and more after every taste.

A still Blanc de Noir, something that is new to me !
A golden yellow in colour, with the nose having pronounced apricot notes with a dry honey backdrop. The palate shows a wonderfully silky texture that sees ripe, textured wild strawberry and gently tropical notes contrasted by finely structured lines of acidity that give such a litheness to the wine. The finish enjoys the textural pull of acidity and a long, lingering influence of just ripe strawberry fruit.
