Mid red with garnet hue. This wine has developed an intriguing bouquet that combines savoury and fruit aromas. The palate shows tight structure with tannins and acidity that make for a food-friendly wine. Try pairing this wine with duck, quail or chicken cacciatore. This wine may throw a harmless natural deposit with time.

I sat with this glass for some time, bewildered by the perfume leaping from my glass;
Unprepared for the resplendence awaiting my palate.
This wine is an intimate dance between the harsh chill of the climate & the delicate warmth of the winemaking. Deep, dark parcels of black fruit, moreish herbal savouriness and elegant spice.
I cannot fault this wine.
I’m calling it early, this is my wine of the year.

I recently had the honour of watching the master tasters of Australia do their thing. The repetition of the task seemed to wash away age, gender and celebrity. The familiarity of their own systematic approach to tasting gave light to see these people, sometimes known as opinions on paper, in their gifting. I was mesmerised.
This kind of legacy provoked me to open a Grey Sands Pinot. It carries a similar breadth of knowledge, an unspoken knowing that only trial and experience affords.
Lavender and enoki, the richness of after dinner tobacco. It commands by intimidation. Authority by beauty.
An integrated quality that likens to glo-mesh. It will awaken deep slumber.
Bruised cherry and violet, introductory offer in the most miniscule quantity of cured meat. All things fine. In the royal sense of the word.
A joy to taste and revive the senses. Needs no accompaniment other than some time in a decanter and your full attention. @grey_sands_vineyard
Thank you @the_little_vino_girl for the introduction and to @quesyrahsyrah1 for backing it up.
